Data Entry Technician – Knowledge Management

Update and maintain information on various KFAS databases and computer systems.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:


  1. Enters data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information using an established procedure and through a detailed web based interface.
  2. Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output.
  3. Verifies entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or re-entering data; combining data from multiple systems when information is incomplete; purging files to eliminate duplication of data.
  4. Maintain confidentiality of data and information.
  5. Comply with data integrity and security policies.

Education & Qualifications

  1. Bachelors degree, Computer Training or Certification


  1. Minimum of 3 years at in similar position
  2. Experience in data entry

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):


  • Proven data entry work experience, as a Data entry operator or Office clerk
  • Experience with MS Office and data programs
  • Familiarity with administrative duties
  • Experience using office equipment, like fax machine and scanner
  • Typing speed and accuracy
  • Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • Bilingual
